Amanda Wick discusses her book "The Catalysts: The Accelerating Forces Forging the New World Financial Order" on the evolving global financial and political landscape, including the perceived decline of American empire due to the erosion of dollar dominance and shrinking middle class.
With all due respect I Amanda has forgotten that we are dealing with psychos who are not considering logic, think for example "climate change" is not a thing scientifically, but nevertheless is an agenda being used to generate business and fear by governments world round. So why would they stop at imposing a form of crypto currency on us even if it doesn't have the functional value of fiat money?! The goal is entrapment not logic, right?
Do you really expect her to put logic and truth above money? Would you expect someone who has held powerful positions within the belly of the beast, and is looking forward to a generous Federal pension to contradict government policy in her book or interviews? I noticed she used the terms 'far right' and 'democracy', phrases used often used by leftists & statists who couldn't care less about individual freedom and liberty. During the conversation she used the word socialist with a positive connotation and the word capitalist with a negative connotation. I wonder what she thinks of what made America prosperous to begin with, a free enterprise system? And she's worried that the U.S. will be 'left behind' as other countries impose digital currencies on their populations? I won't be buying her book.
Years (before the internet!) ago, someone requested investment advice from me. During our conversation, we discussed the changes coming to financial instruments, going from physical "bearer" certificates, which are owned literally by whoever holds it physically, to "book entry", which is what we have now - everything is an entry on a computer and there is no physical certificate.
My friend expressed fear that "the computers could go down and lose all my financial holdings" and from there expressed fear that even US Treasuries could someday default or "disappear".
I responded to him that if the UST were to default, or if investments were to suddenly be "lost" due to a computer glitch, then the last thing that he would be worried about is his finances. At that point, guns, bullets and food and potable water would be far more dear than a computer entry.
The US dollar went from "gold-backed" to "bullet-backed" in 1971. Those that refuse the USD are deposed, like Qaddafi. It's USD or else. Although nowadays it seems that the American government seems to be more willing to accept a loss of financial hegemony than in the past, that hegemony won't be "lost to another entity" like BRICS or China itself as much as it would be voluntarily ceded, as was the plan all along, to a worldwide government.
Aside: ALL government is worldwide government. It's like McDonald's - there are many franchises but they all serve the same masters.
Sorry, what weve had is not 'capitalism'. Free markets are as old as the sun, or atleast humanity. I have chicken eggs and you have silver and we trade them. Government has made it possible for Corporations and governments to vampire the market and the people. This is not complex. Complexity is the pacifier that American intellectuals rely on to keep them talking and zero solutions forthcoming. I appreciate peoples best efforts, however this is a terrible trajectory to have this conversation. There is no real answer here.

So basically this is the system that the western elite would like, so they destroy the existing system and then say , look that system is better.
No it’s not, I do not want it, I want ours to function like it could because it would destroy the Chinese system
I had to pause this vid, just 24 seconds into it, just to say this........
People in AmeriKa have no clue as to just how massively CORRUPT that the State of Maine IS!
I know that when I first learned this, it blew my mind!
