Moreover, because both sides of my family--mostly of Anglo and German descent--have been in America since the 1600s, have fought in her many wars (often on opposing "sides," for good or ill) I am fully invested in the American mythology, including notions of exceptionalism, "city on the hill," and certainly religious freedom, with roots in the Christian tradition. So, when the shit hits the fan, and I am forced to choose between one regime or other, like a prisoner in a gang situation, I feel compelled to go with my "side"--"America," with all of the baggage that entails. For me, that entails some notion of Jeffersonian democracy--limited government, republicanism, Christian virtue, everyone becoming their own "yeoman farmer," live off the land, defend ourselves with guns, raise a family, give them an inheritance, or something of that nature. A quaint 18th century bourgeois British-American ideal, I know, but I suspect many Americans who came from Europe still believe in it, even today.
Like many Americans, I want that version of the nation and those ideals back, but I feel like the current "leaders" and most of those from recent decades are just traitorous demons hell bent on destruction.

Bob focused on the 20th to the 22nd, and even the 18th for Trump sentencing leading to chaos in America - I'm surprised there was no mention of Cyber Polygon lining up with the 9/11 anniversary tomorrow. It would be another good time for cyberattacks/blackouts to be blamed on terrorism while the real culprits who have planned it continue with their plans for greater totalitarianism, a new economic system, and WWIII. Time will tell soon, exactly how events play out.
