Bob Moriarty discusses the Black Swans circling above, from Julian Assange being freed and Democratic Party shenanigans to the looming wars on the horizon.
Thank you for the excellent interview. I am a European, living in the Dominican Republic, and write a very limited newsletter , known as Enki's Optimist, with cross-information and comments for about 100 writers, videographers, historians and politicians, covering geo- and exo-politics, as well as philosophy and religion. Looking forward to more interaction with you, and hoping to join Substack in the near future.
Food, gold, silver, toilet paper - I forget what else was on the list. What else can we possibly do? We follow Psalm 46:10 "Cease striving and know that I am God." Bob paints a realistic picture, and I appreciate his comments, because he skips the hopium. Perhaps he has a wry sense of humor, but the absurdity of our current world situation warrants it. For now, we can hope the worst doesn't come to pass, but when it becomes our reality, there won't be any more comfort in those who tell us that it just can't happen. As the Bible says, "Wars are determined." These are the years approaching the end times. But that is when faith sustains us. We stop walking by sight, and the only question is - how fully do we trust the Lord to order our steps? Because perfect love casts out all fear. That doesn't mean we don't feel afraid, but we know in our hearts that if we follow the Lord carefully, above everything else, He will guide us and we have no reason to fear, if we walk by faith.
When it comes to war, it is not a question of whether or not we are willing to die for causes we don't believe in, if a draft is instituted. The first question is whether the Christian is even allowed to bear arms. It behooves each one of us to answer that question, prayerfully. The Church Fathers were pacifists. It wasn't until the error of Constantine that church and state became blended, so Christians imagined they had a patriotic duty to fight. We no longer belong to ourselves, and so even if the answer is the same, that we won't kill others or participate in war, it is the reason behind our decision that means everything. Do we make our decisions because of our personal opinions, or do we walk in obedience to the Lord in everything, as His servants. It is important for each one of us to solidify our commitments before we have to make decisions in haste. And also, for the sake of our children, if we have them.
The dufus who claimed US SSBNs never surfaced in foreign ports ignored all the 1970s history.

Have you considered drshiva4presidentt? I can’t find fault with a single policy. He has even cleaned up his language
