Some strongly argue that to criticise China’s government is simply to engage in anti-China propaganda. They call such criticisms "disinformation" or even evidence of outright Sinophobia. If you ever point out what an appalling concept China’s Social Credit System is, you may be accused of supporting NATO, of promoting "the international rules based system," of peddling Sinophobic "hate speech" or similar nonsense. These arguments are no more cogent than an allegation that your expressed distaste for Coke logically implies that you avidly promote Pepsi. The term for such rebuttals is "fallacious non sequitur."
Thank you Iain for this excellent rebuttal to Matt Ehret’s & Cynthia Chung’s latest two books entitled, “Breaking Free of Anti-China Psyops: How the Cold War is being revived and what you can do about it” and “Breaking Free of Anti China Psyops 2: Know Your Enemy”. Their two books read like a Tokyo Rose broadcast during WWII. In fact, I think Cynthia Chung should be given the new moniker of “Beijing Betty.” Anyone who lavishes Comrade Xi with slathering praise and adoration should actually live in China and suffer life under a technocratic dictatorship. James Corbett recently had a great article that describes China as, “The Laboratory of Globalism”
