Greetings! Wowza, awesome conversation. Much appreciated.

So many things to add...

On reverse engineering - I'm just created a project that starts next week called "Imagine the Possibilities - Backcasting a Better Future" here on Prince Edward Island. We are literally getting people to imagine best futures, and then reverse engineer how they got there.

On creating innovative local supply chains - for the last two days, my son and i have been doing a "gig" with our local community garden. The garden had an overgrown strawberry patch, with literally thousands of plants that would be choked out by weeds. I need money to fix my truck.

Solution - my son and i removed some of strawberry plants from the old patch at the garden, and planted a lovely new strawberry patch for the garden, and we are harvesting the remaining plants to sell via Facebook, and to local farmers and businesses, to hopefully raise the money i need to fix my truck. Win win.

Anyway, i love you guys. Much, much thanks.

A tariff summary. His articles are long but you can skim or go to the end for the summary.

Orthodox, orthodoxy.... Is this a transition step to global religion?

Moving Catholics into Orthodoxy .... In a generation, the Christian elements could easily be replaced with elements of a new, maybe tech based, state/cultural/religious orthodoxy of global governance.

Just a thought.

Maybe religion was created to keep the masses from engaging with the enemy.

Regarding the debt: The idea is to copy China and Norway and have a sovereign wealth fund where the government gets a portion of the proceeds instead of just a permit fee. Not a bad idea, however, governments will just continue to grift the money.

The big difference is Norway is a net exporter of oil. China is a net exporter of everything and anything...unparalleled in the world. The US on the other hand is the world's largest debtor nation and their main export is in fact debt. With an outrageous trade deficit. So where does the 'wealth' for the sovereign wealth fund come from. I smell a rat.

Understand. The corporations extracting the resources pay a percentage of what they are extracting or profits. This is for resources from US.

Plus our govt is paying big interest now - the risk adjusted after-fees return would have to be higher than that - paying the interest is guaranteed-a return that exceeds the interest rate is not..to me this is a giant fee-generating machine
