The YouTube page where this video is, deleted nearly all my comments so I put them here. I just tried to put them on YouTube again, where they might actually be seen, and some appeared while some previous ones that had actually made it through the screening process (whatever that is) before, seem to have disappeared.
I’m 8 minutes in and I think I am going to need blood pressure medication to continue listening to this. I don’t know where this guest is getting his facts and figures, but I don’t think he’s listening to ANY of the people I’m listening to.
If Israel wanted to “commit genocide” in Gaza, it could have been done 11 months ago - or even before October 7, 2023. Israel certainly has the capability to level Gaza. Instead, Israel risks the lives of its own soldiers to protect non-combatants in Gaza. Israel sends notifications and warnings, which also alert the terrorists, to protect life.
Wake up, folks. Since when do we believe a terrorist organization for facts, data, or information?
I’ll listen a little longer, but if this continues to spiral downhill, I will give up.
Check out “Christian Antisemitism” at the website elijah net dot net to find out how Christianity has attempted to displace Israel for millennia.
8:10 "Obvious genocide"??? Wow... Why isn't he talking about what's going on in other places around the world?
8:15 "assassination of journalists"??? Does he mean like the one that was holding hostages?
8:24 "thousands and thousands of children...". The ones Hamas uses as human shields which Israel tries to avoid injuring, even at the risk of Israeli lives?
~9:00. He completely missed the application of September 11 to the situation in Israel. (I will leave aside the involvement of the us government in that event for now.)
Israel was ATTACKED BY TERRORISTS on October 7. Over 1000 Israelis were slaughtered in brutal ways. Over 200 Israelis were taken hostage by terrorists that don't care about life and are using them only as bargaining chips.
I find it appalling that so many westerners are swallowing the propaganda of terrorists, oblivious to so many facts of the situation.
I'm really not sure I'm going to make it through this interview if I have to stop every few minutes to correct the guest on his statements.
9:22. What about the Israeli children that were killed in the terrorist attack that set this war in motion? What about the Israeli children who lost their parents? What about the Israeli children who were taken as hostages into Gaza by terrorists? Phew... This has signs of being a very long and troubling interview.
Yes, this is a test. All nations will gather together against Israel. Who will stand with Israel as the whole world turns against her? Who will stand with the God of Israel, who, although He will punish Israel for her sins. will never destroy her?
11:00 "what we have in Gaza is this genocide.". Is this man speaking out about the attempted genocide from Hezbollah? Or the attempted genocide by Hamas on October 7?
Or the Houthis?
Sadly, sometimes children pay a price for the sins of their parents. In Numbers 16, the whole families of some rebellious men were swallowed up. Verse 32"... and the earth opened up its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households (vs 27 their wives, and their sons, and their little children) and all the men with Korah, with all their goods."
I think this man is expecting a different response of Israel and Israelis than he would choose if it were him. If he woke up in the middle of the night to an armed burglar in his house, would he do nothing? If he would call the police (since he is unarmed as an Australian), then he is expecting someone else to commit the violence against the burglar for him. That would be hypocritical. He should just show mercy and let the burglar take what he wants and let him go. If the burglar gets as much as he can and says he will be back for more, he should just say that's fine, and welcome him back to show Christian love and mercy. (This is what Hamas has threatened - to do more October 7ths.) If the burglar wants to move into his home, he should willingly move out and give the burglar the keys. To call in the law would be wrong. He should be willing to be mistreated and allow any bad guy to do whatever he wants without complaint.
17:05 The guest gives a very bad and rosy synopsis of David's reign. What translation does the guest use? I've read the Bible many times, in various translations. David's reign was FILLED with wars and battles. If what is happening in Gaza is a "genocide" (which I entirely disagree with), then I think one could reasonably say that David's reign was filled with genocide. In fact, that is the reason God gave that David was not permitted to build the temple - because David was a man of war and blood.
The ONLY peaceful time in Israel's history was during Shlomo's (Solomon's) reign. Every other king was at war, including David.
26:15. BAD account of history. A very twisted and inaccurate description of 1948. Wow... I am not surprised that this guest claims to be a Christian (whatever that really means). He is right about one thing. Christians have persecuted Jews for almost 2000 years, and going by what he says, it sounds like he might align with Luther, theologian of the Holocaust. I'm appalled that someone so unfamiliar with the Bible is trying to write a book about the Bible.
27:25 "a complete and utter catastrophe"?? Does this man know that there are about 2 million Arab Israelis? And Druze Israelis? And Bedouin Israelis? I don't think a single one of them would prefer to live under any of the 22 Arab governments in the Middle East.
I'm appalled at the things this man is saying.
34:33 "Abraham protected his neighbors..". Yes, he did. He went after those who were taken captive and retrieved them and the things that had been taken. He got back the hostages.
It's a bit ironic how often this guest mentions the "genocide in Gaza," while not once
"mentioning" the slaughter of Jews or the hostages taken on October 7. I would say his take on the situation is "just a bit" slanted.
34:44 "blessed are the peacemakers" How often has israel tried to make peace? Land for peace. Offers of peace. The terrorists will have none of it. The only thing that will make them happy is to destroy Israel from the river to the sea, and take over the land. Then they will go after other Muslim groups that believe differently than they do. Why does this man not talk about the violence among Muslim groups? Why is he so intent on maligning Israel?
Sometimes peace is not possible. The Bible also says "AS MUCH AS IS POSSIBLE, live at peace with all men." There are people who refuse to be peaceful. Does that mean you just let them slaughter as many as they want, when they have made it clear that they would like to kill all Jews?
If this man believes in police, then he is a hypocrite. Anyone who steals or murders or defrauds or cheats or kidnaps or any other thing, their victims just need to be peacemakers and be merciful. No need for police or courts. Just forgive and let evil people have or do whatever they want.
40:24 "…once a few more thousands of Palestinians have been murdered...
.. Is that Palestinian Arabs or Palestinian Jews he's talking about? If he means Gazans, then does he mean murdered by their own leadership or leadership decisions or misfired rockets? Hamas terrorists sometimes kill their own people with rockets that fall short of reaching Israel.
Sometimes they kill them when they try to get food from the trucks Israel sends in with supplies.
Oh, and if Israel wanted to commit genocide, I think they could pretty easily shut off the water and electricity to Gaza and not have to use weapons at all.
This is probably the most painful interview l've heard Hrvoje do. And due to all the corrections that need to be made on the guest’s "facts,” it is certainly the longest hour and a half interview I have ever endured.
48:00 Did he really say that China is a capitalist state? I'm wondering what his definition of “capitalist" is. I don't recall ever hearing anyone say China is capitalist before.
1:15:37. The Pharisees wanted to kill Yeshua. That isn't hate? There is something extremely wrong with this guest's understanding of the Bible. It showed many times throughout this interview.
I have some questions for the guest.
A man walks into a restaurant that belongs to a friend and neighbor of his. As he walks toward the counter, he sees a man pull a gun on his friend, who is at the cash register. Would it be love to intervene and shoot the assailant or should he allow the assailant to continue with his hold-up to show mercy and be peaceful?
A burglar breaks into a house. The man of the house yells at the burglar and shoots in the air. The burglar runs away and goes to the neighbor's house where he kills the man and injures his wife. Was it loving his neighbor to let the burglar get away?
A man sees his son floundering in the water and realizes he is about to drown. At the same instant, he realizes a man nearby at the beach is having a heart attack. The man is a former business partner who cheated him out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Should he run to help his enemy or rescue his son?
1:21:30 "God never takes sides in war..". All throughout Tanach, God took sides in wars.
Yeshua will return to lead Israel in battle against all the nations that have gathered together against Israel.
1:22:33 "when the son of man returns, will he find faith on the earth?" All the nations of the earth will be gathered together against Israel. The son of man will return to earth to rescue Israel. There will be individuals who don't agree with their nations' evil alliance against Israel, but all nations will be involved in this evil plan. The nations will be severely judged for their actions.
How did we get through a whole interview, mostly about Israel and Gaza, without a single mention of the hostages or those people that were murdered in cold blood, in Israel, on October 7, some of whom were not even Israelis, but were just working in Israel?
