Yeah it's a weird war alright. Putin has allowed 7 years for this war so bear that in mind. But you're right... the only thing that seems to be obviously happening is a lot of dead Slavs.
Interesting conversation. I especially liked the part about cash. I use cash exclusively, even through the mail, although I sometimes get a USPS money order. I went without a bank account for about 20 years (~1998-2018) and have refused to write checks since then. There have been a few companies that refuse to sell to me because they only accept virtual payments. Mountain Rose Herbs in Oregon, North Spore Mushrooms in Maine (I think), and just a couple days ago, Canopies and Tarps in California(?). I sent this podcast to the fellow at Canopies and Tarps (cash starts at 53:30) in hopes he will listen and reconsider. I also explained my position in an e-mail. I get so frustrated with companies that discriminate against cash-users. :(
