Very good interview. I was opposed to cryptocurrency from the start because of my biblical perspective. Although not everything is perfectly clear to me in some areas, other things are very clear. Since I was young, I knew that a coming government would implement a system that would forbid buying and selling unless one had “the mark” (of the beast). The connection seemed obvious to me.

From a financial perspective, knowing about the u s fiat currency and wanting to go back to the gold/silver standard, I have not been interested in anything that is LESS solid than federal reserve notes. I’m looking for something with MORE inherent value. An entry in a computer is not trustworthy to me. It is very fragile and undependable.

From a political perspective, cryptocurrency is subject to government whims - or others that I don’t trust. I had no bank account for 20 years, until I finally got one again about 5 years ago due to difficulty cashing checks. I don’t have or use credit cards or debit cards. I don’t even write checks. I pay cash. Occasionally, I will get a post office money order to pay for things when ordering items from a long distance.

Overall, I see nothing good about cryptocurrency/bitcoin etc. I am mystified at how many “libertarians” are promoting this without seeing the danger. Of course, most of them have no awareness or concern about what God says. Their view is just a purely earthly view, apart from God and His standards, so they are at a disadvantage.

Thanks for a good interview.
