Dr. Calvin Beisner discusses how there is no climate crisis and how the benefits of using "fossil fuels" far outweigh the costs. An endless amount of holes can be poked in the climate narrative (e.g. Medieval Warm Period). The current changes in climate are not unprecedented. The sun is a key contributor to the cycles of warming and cooling. Up to 50% of the apparent increase in global average temperature over the last century has been happening only in urban areas. We are due for significant global cooling. In fact, warmth is better for human health than cold. The climate catastrophist movement is neofeudal, neocolonial, condemnable, and morally reprehensible. China is playing the West, their aim is to get us to reduce our energy use which reduces our prosperity, part of their plan to fulfill their "hundred year marathon". So much of this is rooted in the (neo)Malthusian worldview. The politics behind "climate change" are dedicated to the destruction of national sovereignty and the replacement of it with a one-world government. Throughout history dominant paradigms have collapsed and that will likely happen with the catastrophic climate change narrative.
A book I have read somewhat recently on the topic is The Ice Age and Climate Change by Jake Hebert. I recommend it. Jake is a young earth creationist who works at ICR.
Another person of interest on this subject is Jim Steele, the author of Landscapes and Cycles: An Environmentalist's Journey to Climate Skepticism. He is (unfortunately) an evolutionist, but this book (which I have started, but haven’t finished yet) is very interesting. I heard Jim interviewed (by David Crowe, The Infectious Myth) and found what he said to be compelling enough that I got his book. He started out believing in anthropogenic global warming, and made a 180. He has an interesting website too. He talks about how many temperatures are skewed because they were originally in rural areas that have now been built up and are surrounded by pavement, but they won’t move them because they are tracking those specific locations. He has pictures of weather stations now surrounded by buildings and asphalt. There is nothing consistent about the data they are collecting when the change around them has been so drastic.
When I was in second grade, in the 70s, the scare was about global cooling. Forgive me for being suspicious of anything claiming global warming. As a little kid, I was scared of a freezing earth. I am over the hype and fearmongering.
I do think the guest is looking through rose-colored glasses when it comes to the future. He sounds possibly reconstructionist.
II Timothy 3:13 “ But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”
Romans 1-2
Revelation
II Timothy 3:1ff “But know this, that in the last days hard times shall come. For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of silver, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, thankless, wrongdoers, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, haters of good, betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohim, having a form of reverence but denying its power. And turn away from these! For among them are those who creep into households and captivate silly women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Stop destroying the Earth's forested regions for the sole purposes of industrial growth and economic growth and the problem fixed.
That's an incredible biography, what a list of accomplishments. A real expert.
