Thoughts to take or leave:

Step 1) Abstain from the Main Game.

2) Reach out for input, research and note, interesting / best suggestions to be discerned, considered, listed or mentioned in a future program

3) Organize and promote best / most interesting ideas.

4) There must be a very good list of solutions, i.e. good things happening, food for thought; regardless, it will inspire audiences - independent, critical thinking, further research, discovery, critical conversations, interesting options, potential better pathways

5) for inspiration maybe reminding people of mutual interests being well-served in the past...a historical recap of some of the better people-powered ideas and machinations - a history of ideas, philosophies; discuss potential means for circumventing digital communications and censorship, from the past whether it was the local printing press, the mimeograph, or maybe options now - truly independent servers, software, platforms; complementary currencies and ways around the digital coin, digital ID road to hell.

Good to see. I think I first heard a mention of the new Independent Media Alliance on a recent video with Ryan Cristián and Catherine Austin Fitts. Quick notes. Maybe a quick disclaimer phrase prior to stating one's critique or position on a candidate could be developed to open the door to something wider instead of that two-party trap mentality described in the first 30min. Yes, Iain, laying out those other paths in specific, concise and helpful ways would definitely help people get their bearings regarding the self-defeating but difficult-to-discern "offerings" from various "leaders" and candidates running for office. Good discussion.

this was a good discussion. regarding the binary nature of politics - despite being so-called "democracies" in most of the west you cannot even create a political party that doesn't fit in the overarching political culture. For example, in the UK Mark Collett's Patriotic Alternative has constantly been blocked from being allow to stand candidates in elections as their underlying ethos does not fit with the "liberal democratic" culture of the urban elites. So the parliamentary commission constantly refuses them using various spurious reasons.

In France the situation is even worse. There is an actually nationalist party in France (RN) but they will never win outright as the French system is based on a dialectic voting system where the centrists will always win - except in exceptional circumstances.

Regarding the actual right not backing Trump, this is correct for the main part. He is seen as being an Israeli stooge in the pocket of jewish finance. During his first term he was constantly prevented from doing anything by Jared Kushner and the big money jews surrounding him. However, I think a lot of the hard right will vote for Trump just on the off chance something larger will kick off in the US which they can take advantage of.

Where are the women? I'm not wasting my time listening to six men talk to themselves.

Less than 10 minutes in and Iain mentioned the Nudge Unit. That put a big smile on my face. Of all the references to give as an example, that's probably the best one. Excited to hear more.

Another area of "choice" we need to be working on, is medicine. Allopathic medicine as it is subsidised by governments, is only one option for a type of medicine to apply. We have been led to believe that we have informed consent, but firstly, with allopathic medicine, none of us can ever we well enough informed to give informed consent. But what we can do is consent to what form of medicine we choose to be treated according to, so we should be able to choose between sports medicine and longevity medicine and epigenetics and integrative and homeopathic, and Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese medicine, and western herbal medicine etc etc etc etc. We cannot even choose between forms of medicine, let alone give informed consent to something in particular they want to do to us. This is a massive area, with some very easy intervention points where we can bring medicine back under human control.

We could do a regular round table where we find intervention points relating to choosing our preferred healthcare, ie, finding solutions!

Even where the electoral system is such that it is possible to vote for minority candidates as independents or from minority parties, the population is too lazy. Australia is the only country in the world (as far as I know) that has preferential voting, which means I can vote for my preferred candidate, and if they don't win, my vote will flow through to my second preference and onward. This gives us the power to vote in independent candidates or minority parties. But the preferential voting system is too complicated for the lazy Australian brain, that cannot wrap its head around the fact that, in Australia, you cannot, under any circumstances, lose or give away your vote (and voting is compulsory) .Several people for the last few elections has been focusing on trying to educate the electorate on how to use the preferential voting system, and they simply cannot wrap their heads around it. They still seem believe they are voting in a first past the post system. Summary - people are just too damned lazy!
