Has a forensic commercial real estate appraiser , am sure she would have tons of loophole stories to share , she was in the thick of it. Here in Montréal , urban development has been frozen for about 30 years. In all fairness it is an Island and if a project would fall into the development pipeline you could be sure there was local corruption involved (zoning insider trading) even straight up city council buying up or seizing the land to resell to donors projects.
Back in 2022 they(state level) gave back the imminent domain power to the municipalities .
In a balance society that would not be so bad but it is very much the Green agenda global cult zealotry that is the dominant culture.
So far no journalist have expose abuse. The only recent one i know off the power were used to get rid of industries . . . degrowth causality number 1. . .
